Stone Canyon Ranch offers riding lessons and leasing options for intermediate riders on up. We are a very small program, focusing on hunter/jumper, basic dressage and lower level eventing. 

Riders that fit well into our program have usually lessoned elsewhere for at least a year prior, and are comfortable at the walk, trot, canter and over small fences. Most are looking for a more individualized program and are wanting to start showing. 

Rates:

Full Board, inside stall: $350

Full Board, outside stall: $300

Full Lease: $250 + half farrier

            -includes 2-3 rides per week, showing privileges

Half Lease: $100 + half farrier

            -includes 1 ride per week, showing privileges

Private lesson: $50

Semi-private lesson:$40

Lesson horse show fee: $30 (waived for those leasing)

Show hauling fee: $25 per horse (locally – adjusted for distance)

Private hauling fee: $50 per horse (locally – adjusted for distance)

Trainer’s show fee: $50-$75 a day
